Saving money is like many of those New Year resolutions on everyone’s list that usually fall to the wayside a few unproductive months down the road. We’ve all been there. Similar to getting in and staying in shape, saving money is something that requires initial effort to kick start but true discipline and persistence to maintain and continue.
Americans are much better with spending than we are saving, as American household debt continues to rise exponentially while up to 62% of households have less than $1,000 saved and 21% of households don’t having savings accounts at all. Many Americans are trapped living a check-to-check existence, while debt builds and any hope of savings or retirement dwindles. You ever hear the quote, if you don’t know, you don’t know, well it’s time to learn, because not knowing is costing us dearly.
